Class 1 – Tack and Turn out –RIDDEN -  Horse or pony

Class 2 – Youngstock – in hand

Class 3 – Bonny Pony/ Handsome Horse

Class 4 – Best condition Horse/ Pony - in hand

Class 5 - Coloured - in hand

Class 6 – Marvellous moustaches/ woolly muzzles!

Class 7 – Cheeky Monkeys!  Perfect Partners!

What makes you and your pony/ horse special – do you look alike, like to wear pink, or just love each other dearly, this class is looking for you! Anything goes! (Rosette to all competitors)

Class 8 – Young Handler – in hand – For handlers 9- 14 years old – show us how you can walk and trot your horse/ pony, make them stand, turn a circle, pick up a hoof, trot in a straight line.

All young handlers should wear a Riding hat and gloves.

Class 9 - First Ridden Pony – 13.2hh and below, Rider 11 years old and under.

Walk & Trot only – no cantering - anyone entering this class may not enter class 10 (open Ridden)

Class 10 – Open Ridden Pony

Class 11 – Ridden Veteran

Class 12 – Open Ridden Horse

Class 13 – Coloured (piebald, skewbald, dun, palomino, spotted) – Ridden

Class 14 – Racehorse/ TB – Ridden

We ask that horse/ ponies are NOT left tied to wagon or trailer for everyones safety - if not being tacked up or competed please PUT YOUR PONY BACK ON YOUR TRAILER.

 Please put all your poo in the wheelbarrows provided in corner of all the arenas.

The Road back to ‘normality – The next small step’ –

Social distancing measures and limits on numbers of people attending will be in place, along with a range of other measures to help us all take a responsible step back into this new Phase and we thank you in advance for your help in doing this.

We ask you to please take personal responsibility in respecting people’s space, practice good hygiene and listening carefully to any instructions our Staff may issue and treat them with respect whilst carrying out their duties.

  • Toilets will be open with hand washing facilities
  •  Hand sanitiser available in appropriate positions.
  • All attendees are asked to continue to observe good personal hygiene
  • Qualified First Aiders are available onsite
  • All entries will be PRE BOOKED ONLY – please do not bring any additional horses
  • Please limit the number of people you bring with you and anyone not directly needed to help with your horse should be asked to stay in the vehicle or sit away from gateways and entrances and make use of the many picnic benches available.
  • Café will operate as a TAKE AWAY only at this time (food to be eaten outside or in your vehicles) – please observe the signs on site to ensure a safe system for this service


We will continue to monitor the position of both the government and the National Federations

and review on a weekly basis.
