Dressage Championship series

 

Fantastic Finals at Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elem Levels - You’ve got to be in it to win it!!

To qualify for the Finals horse/ rider must have achieved minimum of 60% at the level they wish to compete in (eg get 60% + in Prelim to qualify for Prelim final etc) and purchase a 'Finals Qualification Card'  –

 

Entries close Thursday 12th October 11am

 

 Entry fees cannot be refunded once entries have closed unless class is cancelled.

Entries booked and then cancelled before close of entries will be refunded minus a £5 admin fee

All classes use the latest BHS British Dressage tests/ or Port Royal Test

 Each rider will perform the 2 Championship tests,

 % from each will be added together to give a final score – highest wins!

 THE INTRO CHAMPIONSHIP!  -

Entry Fee £36 inc VAT (includes BOTH championship test entries)

 

The 2 tests for this Championship are –

Port Royal Intro 4 & BD Intro A

Anyone entering the Intro Final may NOT enter the other Finals on this day - this includes rider, horse &/ or combination (so a rider may not ride same or different horse in any other final, horse may not go in another final with different rider etc.)

 

 

 1st; Large Annual Trophy,  saddlecloth 

& Championship Rosette,  

2nd - 6th; Special Large Championship Rosettes & Goody Bag

 THE PRELIM CHAMPIONSHIP!  -

Entry Fee £36 inc VAT (includes BOTH championship test entries)

 

The 2 tests for this Championship are -

Port Royal Prelim 5 & BD P1

 

Anyone entered in this Final may NOT compete in the Elem Final

 

 

 1st; Large Annual Trophy,  saddlecloth 

& Championship Rosette,  

 

2nd - 6th; Special Large Championship Rosettes & Goody Bag

 THE NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP!  -

Port Royal Novice 10 & BD N34

& Championship Rosette,

 THE ELEMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIP!  -

BD E42 & BD E44

 

Anyone entered in this Final may NOT compete in the Prelim Final

 Port Royal Dressage Summer Championships , Sunday 15th Oct

Side Saddle dressage ( PYO level ) Championship to run in tandem with the Championships .

 

Prize in kind to winner, Championship rosettes 1st to 6th

 

In order to enter the Side saddle champs :

 

• qualify as per usual rules  for PR dressage championships , prior to the Championship date .  ie obtain  60 % or above at your chosen level ( Intro / Prelim/ Novice/ Elementary ) NB Can qualify riding astride or side-saddle .
• Purchase a qualifying card at £7.00, on -line , .
• Enter for Port Royal  dressage championships as normal for 15th of October .- PLEASE STATE SIDE SADDLE ON YOUR ENTRT
• If riding at more than one level at the championships , please indicate on your entry form , which level  you wish to be taken into account for the side saddle championship .
• On day of championships , ride side saddle at your chosen level . You will be part of the astride  dressage championships and judged and placed as such .
• Your side saddle scores will then be automatically entered into the side saddle championships . No need for a further entry fee . No need to ride again .All side saddle riders will be placed as one class , which ever level you choose to ride at .Highest % wins , in case of a tie, then collectives will be taken into consideration.
• Please note , for this class to be valid and run , a minimum of 6 side saddle riders are required .
• Also please be aware of the dressage championship rules , ie if  you ride at Intro level at the championships , neither rider or horse can compete at any other level that day . If you ride at Elementary level at the championships , neither rider or horse can compete at Prelim level that day
