Covid-19 Updates 25-05-20

The Road back to ‘normality – The next small step’ –

Exact date to resume is TO BE CONFIRMED – but 1st June is currently suggested by the Government as the time we may be able to re start small scale, Unaffiliated Training shows and Competitions with closely regulated numbers on site and a set of measures in place to be able to resume this phase of the road back to ‘normality’

Social distancing measures and limits on numbers of people attending will be in place, along with a range of other measures to help us all take a responsible step back into this new Phase and we thank you in advance for your help in doing this.

We ask you to please take personal responsibility in respecting people’s space, practice good hygiene and listening carefully to any instructions our Staff may issue and treat them with respect whilst carrying out their duties.

  • Toilets will be open with hand washing facilities
  •  Hand sanitiser available in appropriate positions.
  • All attendees are asked to continue to observe good personal hygiene
  • Qualified First Aiders are available onsite
  • All entries will be PRE BOOKED ONLY – please do not bring any additional horses
  • Please limit the number of people you bring with you and anyone not directly needed to help with your horse should be asked to stay in the vehicle or sit away from gateways and entrances and make use of the many picnic benches available.
  • Café will operate as a TAKE AWAY only at this time (food to be eaten outside or in your vehicles) – please observe the signs on site to ensure a safe system for this service

We will continue to monitor the position of both the government and the National Federations

and review on a weekly basis.

REMEMBER – By returning to the sport you Love at Port Royal you are getting an experienced, knowledgeable Team, dedicated to ensuring that the safety of you and your Horse are at the heart of everything we do.

It’s the Big picture AND the little details that count that aren’t always obvious to the ‘newcomer’ organisers popping up out there –

so always make sure you are choosing wisely J
