Annual Equine Flu vaccinations are required for this competition. Please ensure that you have your horses Passport with you at the Tack inspection as random checks are possible.

All ages at 1st January 2020

Class 1   40cm  Lead Reins and assistance allowed. 10 years and under.

Single round. No jump off. Rosettes for all. Individuals only

Class 2   50cm Beginners. 12 years and under.

One round to include timed section. Individuals only.

Classes 3, 4 and 5 are qualifiers for the Final of the Area 3 Junior Series in October 2020. The top 2 teams and 4 individuals in each class will qualify. Qualifications pass down the line if already qualified in a team or as an individual.

Open Classes.    Individuals only. Competitors may only enter classes 3a, 4a,and 5a if they are too old to enter the corresponding classes for that height. For example a competitor may not enter Class 3 and 3a.

Class 3  Junior Series – 10 years and under.  60cm.

One round to include timed section

Class 3a 60cm Open Class (No team competition)

11 years and over. One round to include a timed section.

Class 4  Junior Series – 12 years and under. 70cm.

One round to include timed section

Class 4a  70cm Open Class. (No team competition) 13 years and over.

One round to include timed section

Class 5  Junior Series – 12 years and under. 80cm.

One round to include timed section

Class 5a  80cm Open Class. (No team competition) 13 years and over.

One round to include a timed section.

Class 6  85cm Open Class.

One round to include a timed section

All heights are maximum in 1st part of the round.

Entry Fee – Class 1 and 2 £10. All other classes £15 per entry. No refunds after the closing date

Class 1 – rosettes to all. Class 2 - rosettes 1st to 6th. Class 3 – 6 rosettes to 6th place for teams and individuals.

Rules:

This competition is run under Pony Club rules 2020. No jewellery is allowed. Hats must be tagged and meet the required Pony Club standard and worn, fastened at all times when mounted. No spurs are allowed in classes 1 and 2 and in other classes with DC’s permission only. Jackets and ties or stocks must be worn. Hair must either be above the collar or securely contained in a hairnet.    This competition is for teams of 3 or 4 members. The best three scores will count. The jump off part of the course will be timed and used in the event of ties and individual places. Team members will also be judged as individuals. Individuals may enter but will not be eligible for team placing. Only members of the same pony club may form teams (no mixed club teams)                                                Any objections must be lodged with £20.00 within 15 minutes of the occurrence. This will only be returned if the objection is upheld. The judges’ decision will be final.

 

Health & Safety The organisers have taken every responsible precaution to ensure the health & safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all responsible precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all Officials and stewards                                                                                                                                                                               Legal Liability Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
