ONLINE SHOWING

A little Online Showing fun for the weekend!!

As many of you know, we have started raising money to buy a Defibrillator to help ‘Save a Life’.

Instead of the monthly on site prize draw to raise funds, while we are closed, we thought we could help pass the time with some fun competitions, get you out in the fresh air (safely!!) and raise some money for a great cause

Kindly sponsored by TopSpec

Prizes in kind and a Ribbon award to the winners

The ‘Show’ – ' SHOW 7' -

OK, so now we have greater freedom to ride again (within your own comfort zone please!) we have decided to add some ridden classes this week - please remember to wear correct safety gear - plus, think carefully about the 3 photos you send in, think about a front angle, side view and one from the back so that the Judge can get a real feel for you and your horse

Other than that - just GO FOR IT!! We want to see the shampoo out, plaits (where appropriate for the breed of horse), jackets, pale jodphurs, the lot!! Have fun getting ready and dressing up - who knows, we might be just weeks away from getting out for real so a great chance to make sure it all still fits!!

Our Defibrillator Fundraiser –

Here at Port Royal we would like to use 2020 to fundraise to buy a Defibrillator – an essential piece of equipment to try and save the life of someone who is in cardiac arrest

Less than 1in 10 people in the UK survive an ‘out of hospital’ cardiac arrest. By having a defibrillator on site we can play an important part in saving lives.

As a rural venue speed is of huge importance and having a defibrillator on site could make all the difference and not only to Riders visiting but their friends and families that might come to watch and indeed the wider community.

Heart attacks/ cardiac arrest isn’t just something that happens to old or unfit people – they can affect anyone at any time.
